With an increase in competition in business world, many organisations are searching hard for ways to create new customers as well as to bring back the existing ones. Business organisations use different methods to generate sales in current scenario, where customers have so many options in front of them. One of such methods is a credit card reward program. A reward program is a program, in which the merchant gives loyalty points to those customers who purchase a certain quantity, and additional points whenever they make a repeat purchase. In some cases discounts are also given. Merchant give loyalty cards to their customers, which is similar to a debit or credit card, and which stores information about the customer and current status of his points tally. Reward points are not only beneficial for the merchants, as it gives them repeat sales, but it’s also good from the consumer’s point of view as he is rewarded for shopping.
